Julia is a dedicated and empathetic professional who prioritizes building strong, supportive relationships and instilling hope in her clients. With extensive experience working with individuals from preschool age to senior adults, she creates a warm and welcoming environment where children, adults, couples, and families can navigate life’s challenges and uncover their strengths. 

Julia specializes in addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, peer relationships, codependency, relational issues, spirituality, life transitions, school-related concerns, self-esteem, trauma, and PTSD. She customizes her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

Her practice integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), while also incorporating elements of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Narrative Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. Julia values the inclusion of clients’ faith and spirituality as powerful tools in the healing process when applicable.

Julia earned her Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her clinical experience includes working at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, where she supported children, adults, couples, and families on their healing journeys.

Outside of therapy, Julia enjoys expressing her creativity through songwriting and short stories, baking delicious pastries, and playing chess with her husband. Whether working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families, she is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported on their path toward their best selves.
