Megan is a warm, grounded therapist in Southlake, TX who helps individuals move through anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, and the pressure to hold everything together. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down, breathe, and explore the thoughts they’ve been carrying alone — especially the ones that whisper, “I’m not enough,” or “I’ll be judged no matter what I do.”
Clients describe Megan as compassionate, steady, and deeply authentic. She supports people in understanding not just their symptoms, but the deeper emotional patterns and protective parts that shape their lives. Her approach blends acceptance, curiosity, and practical tools to help clients build selfcompassion and reconnect with who they truly are.
Megan works with adults, couples, and teens navigating:
Using a person-centered, eclectic lens, Megan integrates ACT, IFS, mindfulness, dialectical principles, and existential exploration. She also has training in NARM (Neuro-Affective Relational Model) and The Gottman Method, allowing her to support clients with both emotional depth and practical strategies.
Megan’s path to becoming a therapist is shaped by her own lived experience. She understands firsthand what it’s like to navigate anxiety, perfectionism, and the pressure to excel. After earning her Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University and completing two years of medical school, she discovered her true calling in mental health. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and has worked in inpatient, PHP, and community counseling settings. As a mom of three young daughters, she also understands the complex mix of joy, stress, and identity shifts that come with modern motherhood.
In her Southlake practice, Megan strives to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and gently challenged when it’s helpful. She believes that many mental health struggles develop as protective responses — and that approaching them with compassion and curiosity can open the door to meaningful, lasting change.
