Child Counseling

Why Child Counseling?

Childhood is an important stage of development marked by rapid changes in physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. It lays the foundation for their overall development and well-being, and can influence their lifelong trajectory. In addition to forming cognitive and skill acquisition, early childhood is key for forming secure attachments, developing healthy emotional regulation/expression, and understanding social norms.

How We Help?

Although many experiences of childhood are similar across all children, your child is unique and one-of-a-kind. It is important to find a counselor that will take the time to learn your individual circumstances, history, and goals. At Anchor of Hope Counseling, we take the time to understand your story and child, and we partner with parents and caregivers to explore solutions for emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns.
