Brynna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families in Southlake and the greater DFW area. She believes people are capable of real change, even when change feels out of reach. She approaches each client with warmth, curiosity, and respect for the story that has shaped them. In her view, therapy is a collaborative space where clients can make sense of their experiences, uncover their strengths, and build lives and relationships that feel true to them.

As a marriage and family therapist, Brynna is especially interested in how relationships, environments, and experiences shape who we become. Struggles often make more sense when we look at the patterns around them. Rather than focusing only on what is wrong, she helps clients understand what is happening beneath the surface, recognize the resilience that has carried them this far, and explore new ways of responding and connecting.

Brynna has a particular heart for couples experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, or disconnection. She helps partners recognize the negative cycles that pull them apart and rebuild the emotional connection and closeness that allow them to turn toward each other again. She is also passionate about working with adolescents and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral concerns, and major life transitions.

Additionally, she enjoys working with individuals seeking greater self-understanding, processing difficult experiences, or hoping to make lasting changes in their lives.

Her approach is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, these perspectives help clients understand the emotional patterns beneath their struggles, build on the strengths they already have, and take practical steps toward the change they want. Her work is collaborative and shaped by the goals and experiences of the person in the room. For clients who desire it, Brynna welcomes the opportunity to incorporate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process. As a Christian, she believes faith can be an important part of a person’s story and honors each client’s beliefs, values, and journey.

Brynna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Her clinical training included work with adolescents, individuals, couples, and families in both residential and outpatient settings, including adolescents and families facing crisis, aggression, and high-risk behaviors.

Outside the office, Brynna can usually be found on a run, cheering on the Aggies, or spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She is committed to continuing to grow as a therapist alongside the people she has the privilege of serving.

Brynna is supervised by Jessica Villarreal, Ph.D., LMFT-S, LPC-S
