Wyatt Marr believes that real change begins when a person feels genuinely seen, not just heard, but truly understood. That conviction is at the heart of everything he does. He approaches each client with patience, care, and a deep respect for their unique story, creating a space that feels safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow.
Wyatt holds an undergraduate degree from Southern Arkansas University and is currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. He works with clients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and questions of identity and purpose. He is especially passionate about men’s mental health, about creating a space where seeking help is understood as a sign of courage, not weakness.
His approach is integrative and deeply personal. He draws on humanistic values and cognitive behavioral therapy, adapting to each individual he works with. Some clients need gentleness and patience. Others do better with a more direct, hands-on style. Wyatt meets each person where they are. When a client desires it, he is also open to weaving faith into the counseling process.
Wyatt’s goal is simple: for every person who walks out of a session to leave with both relief and clarity and real tools they can use in daily life.
Outside of counseling, Wyatt is a former college baseball player who still carries that sense of teamwork and commitment into everything he does. He is engaged to be married in the spring and treasures time with his family and his dog, Clifford. You’ll often find him reading, going for walks, creating pen art, or enjoying a video game. Above all, he values being fully present with the people he cares about.
That same presence is what he brings to every session.
